TABLE OF CONTENTS

Does the Meetings module sync with my calendar?

It does not. Think of the Meetings feature as a grouping of actions, decisions, etc - a replacement for your meeting actions log - rather than a replacement for your calendar. It is very quick and easy to create new meetings and once you have set recurring meetings up, it's unlikely you'll have to do much else for the rest of the project (and we think this is better than syncing with your calendar and bringing through many unwanted, unrelated meetings which you then have to remove from Sharktower!)

How do I email out a summary of meeting actions?

You'll find a section for adding notes and commentary when you look at an individual meeting. If you wish, you can use this before clicking EMAIL SUMMARY. A meeting summary containing this commentary and all actions and decisions raised during the meeting will then be emailed to all invitees.

Do meeting actions appear in the Kanban too?

Yes. Any actions assigned to you, during or after a meeting, will be added as tasks in your Kanban.

How do I format my meeting agenda?

You can use markdown notation for this - as in any description field in Sharktower. Use single asterisks to make things italic, double for bold and hyphens for bullet points.

E.g. * italic * or ** bold **

See here for more information.

Make sure you've created the meeting - find out how to do that in this article. When the meeting has been created, if you wish to link items to it beforehand, you need to navigate to the specific meeting instance and click 'Start Meeting'. Once you've done this, that instance of the meeting will appear in the "links box" of existing work items.
