Keeping everything connected

Manage all related work easily in once place - stories, tasks, decisions, risks, issues and meeting actions in once place.  No more separate RAID log spreadsheets and meeting trackers.

  • Record potential risks, their likelihood and impact
  • Link with impacted plan activities and deliverables
  • Decide on mitigation required and linked required actions
  • Prioritise, filter and manage risk mitigating and issue resolution

You can record risks and issues anywhere where the Quick Add Menu is available and in Meetings. They will appear anywhere that tasks, stories and decisions do, particularly on My Kanban and Project Kanban.

Risks and issues are fully traceable, transparent and always linked to impacted deliverables. Allowing easy monitoring of required actions or decisions to resolve, in one place alongside all project work.

Describe Risk – provide detail of the risk, the potential impact and the mitigation approach, and the risk owner.

Risk Impact – estimate the Risk Likelihood (H,M,L) and Risk Impact (H,M,L), as well as estimate the material Risk Value i.e. time or costs.

Impacted Activity – link impacted plan activity/deliverable, and to any key project meetings. Enabling risk to be seen whether viewing by Plan, Meetings or Kanban.

Linked Actions – link required tasks/actions needed to mitigate the risk and any related decisions required.

Track – view the history of the risk and all commentary. Use comments to provide updates or tag key stakeholders for awareness.

Request Update – use this option to request a specific update on the risk that will notify the owner both in the application but also by email.

Creating a risk register or RAID log

If you want to see all risks and issues on your project, or a subset associated with a particular workstream, you can use the Type Filter on the project kanban to achieve this:

You can also use other filters such as assignees to structure the discussion, and even use stand-up meeting functionality to schedule regular risk register reviews.

Viewing Risks & Issues at Portfolio Level

From the Reporting option on the left hand-navigation bar, you can view your entire organisation's risks and issues then filter down to your portfolio or sort by Project, Title, Value or Due Date.

You can also interact with the Project and the Title of the Risk/Issue to view more information.
